Amber Warning For Extreme Heat - Scottish Government's Resilience Operation Activated
A Scottish Government Resilience (SGoRR) meeting has been held to prepare for the potential impacts of a Met Office Amber warning of extreme heat in Scotland next week.   The warning covers southern parts of Scotland from 00.00 on Monday 18 July to 23.59 on Tue 19 July.

Visa Holders Entering The Uk Under The Ukraine Humanitarian Schemes: 16 To 24 June 2022
Data collected from 16 to 24 June 2022 show that 59% of respondents aged 18 years and over arrived in the UK from Ukraine more than four weeks before completing the survey; most adult respondents are female (81%) and 55% are aged 30 to 49 years.   Of respondents arriving from Ukraine, the majority (83%) live in England and 20% currently live in London.

Construction Output In Great Britain: May 2022
Monthly construction output increased by 1.5% in volume terms in May 2022; this is the seventh consecutive monthly growth following the upwardly revised increase to 0.3% in April 2022; May 2022 is a record high in monthly-level terms (£15,053 million) since records began in January 2010.   The increase in monthly construction output in May 2022 came solely from an increase in new work (2.8%) as repair and maintenance saw a slight decline, decreasing 0.4% on the month.
