Caithness Businesses Staging The Wedding Show For Laurandy

Despite these recession times Caithness businesses are banding together to put on one of the biggest Wedding Shows ever seen in the county.
The Wedding Show will be a chance for everyone getting married in the next couple of years to see what is on offer locally. Everything from flower arrangements to wedding clothes, transport to stationery
The show will start with a Bridal Catwalk Show believed to be the first in the county. The Catwalk Show will last for 30 minutes.
Organisers hope that this event will showcase everything that you need for a successful wedding is available locally. The opportunity to speak to everyone under one roof means a great deal of the stress is taken out of getting round or phoning all over. Brochures and contact details can all be gathered in one fell swoop.
There will be plenty of ideas on show and the chance to speak to the businesses themselves to find out about what they have to offer and prices.
The organisers think the event will have a much wider appeal as a show in itself and with all the proceeds of the event going to the local charity "Laurandy Centre" who do so much for elderly people providing vital services.
The Wedding Show takes place on Wednesday 2nd September at 7.30pm in the Waterfront with tickets costing £5.
Get your tickets as soon as you can to make sure you get in or risk it at the door on the night. Buying tickets early wil help with catering arrangements. Tickets available from Amanda's Florists and D R Simpsons in Wick and Jim Bews in Thurso.
