Ross Tours - Taking Bikes, Golf Clubs And Much More

George Ross started out with Ross Taxis over two years ago. Being local and having a wide range of knowledge of Caithness and Sutherland more and more people started asking him to take them on tours and show them the local sites. In order to accommodate this he bought a minibus which seats 7 passengers and started Ross Tours. This is a very comfortable vehicle which is now only two years old. People can rest assured they are travelling in comfort and reliability with a driver who knows the area like the back of his hand and has had experience driving lorries all over Europe. There is also a fridge in the back of the bus for carrying cold drinks.

He has run tours for people and parties from all walks of life from places of historical interest to quad biking and white water rafting. He has also been asked to go further a field including Kinlochbervie, Lairg, Kyle and of course Inverness. Often the brave people that cycle from lands end to John O’Groats need some way of transporting their bikes when they get here. To satisfy this need George bought a trailer, had it sprayed and designed to match the minibus. This is a fully lockable covered trailer that can transport bikes to and from ferries, trains etc. Of course it doesn’t just take bikes; golf clubs, sports equipment, luggage, parcels, shopping etc. It is fully lined so equipment can be strapped in and transported safely.
