Wood Pellet Company Starting Production In Caithness

Forever Fuels Ltd has announce they will commence to produce wood pellets to supply the increasing demand for alternative fuels in Caithness and Scotland.

Forever Fuels is a subsidiary of Summerleaze who already has interests in wood pellet production in other parts of the UK. Summerleaze owns several forests in the north including Geiselittle and Navidale. The company has a long track record of success in a number of areas.

The company will be supplying customers in the north and further south. It has already won a contract to supply two plants at North Highland College in Thurso. They intend to open up access from Geiselittle to the A9 for lorries.

The company intends to employ about 15 people directly and up to will be employed 20 in ancillary works.

A representative for the company said they were continuing to expand their operation as the demand for wood pellets is rising fast. They are into using proven technologies using heat systems that are very reliable and the use of which is expanding.
