DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (May, 10th) sold 549 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (146) sold to £73 gross for Cheviots from 124 West Langwell, Rogart.
Prime and feeding ewes (230) sold to £82 gross twice for Texel crosses from Lochdhu Farm, Nairn, and Mules from 5 Tomich, Beauly.
Rams and feeding sheep (20) sold to £95 gross for a Charollais from Tulloch Farm, Dingwall.
Ewes with single lambs at foot (72) sold to £142 gross for a Cheviot Mule ewe with a Texel cross lamb from Bogallan, North Kessock.
Ewes and gimmers with twin lambs at foot (65) sold to £152 gross for Cheviots with a Suffolks cross lambs from Ardview, Portachuillin.
