DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (May, 10th) sold 549 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (146) sold to £73 gross for Cheviots from 124 West Langwell, Rogart.
Prime and feeding ewes (230) sold to £82 gross twice for Texel crosses from Lochdhu Farm, Nairn, and Mules from 5 Tomich, Beauly.
Rams and feeding sheep (20) sold to £95 gross for a Charollais from Tulloch Farm, Dingwall.
Ewes with single lambs at foot (72) sold to £142 gross for a Cheviot Mule ewe with a Texel cross lamb from Bogallan, North Kessock.
Ewes and gimmers with twin lambs at foot (65) sold to £152 gross for Cheviots with a Suffolks cross lambs from Ardview, Portachuillin.

PORTREE, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (April, 23rd) sold 72 store cattle, 14 breeding cattle, 16 OTM cattle and 46 sheep. Bullocks (36) averaged 219.5p and sold to 314.7p per kg for 197kg Limousin crosses from 8 Torvaig, Portree, and ¬£970 gross for a 445kg Limousin cross from 1 & 2 Stenscholl, Staffin.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (April, 21st) sold 425 sheep of all classes. Lambs (262) averaged ¬£45.23 and sold to ¬£80 gross for Suffolk crosses from Wester Muckernich, Tore.
DINGWALL, Dingwall andHighland Marts Ltd., (March, 30th) sold 1,006 store cattle. Bullocks (641) averaged 220.7p and sold to 280.5p per kg for a pen of 246kg Charolais crosses from Greenvale, Dunnet, and ¬£1,310 gross for the overall champion, a 585kg Charolais cross from The Cloy, Fortrose.

Heifers (254) averaged 219.8p and sold to 288.5p per kg for a pair of 260kg Limousin crosses from Refouble, Glenferness, and ¬£1,260 gross for a pair of 550kg Simmental crosses from Bunchrew, Inverness.
