DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (June, 14th) sold 535 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (61) sold to £76 gross for a Suffolk cross from Fassock, Kiltarlity.
Prime and feeding ewes (276) sold to £92 gross for Texels from Woodside, Muir of Tarradale.
Rams and feeding sheep (32) sold to £80 gross for a Texel ram from Eilean Darrach, Dundonnell.
Gimmers with twin lambs at foot (1) sold at £150 gross for a Texel with Texel cross lambs at foot from Croft Martin, Kingussie.
Ewes with single lambs at foot (58) sold to £142 gross for Texels with Texel lambs from Croft Martin.
Ewes with twin lambs at foot (107) sold to £170 gross for Blackfaces with Blackface lambs from Auchnafearn.

FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 14th) sold 259 weaned calves and store cattle, 24 OTM cattle and 8 adult head of breeding cattle. Bullocks (183) averaged 221.4p and sold to 286.3p per kg for a pen of 255kg Simmental crosses from Moy Farm, Banavie, and ¬£940 gross for a 490kg Simmental cross from 7 Back of Keppoch, Arisaig.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October, 6th) sold 136 rams at its annual show and sale of Blackface rams, sponsored by PKN Nutrition and Scottish Woodlands. The overall champion was a shearling from Messrs MacDonald, Dalbuiack, Carrbridge, realising ¬£1,000 to Mrs M.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 4th) sold 496 weaned calves at their first annual district ballot show and sale. The show champion sponsored by Barclays Transport, Portsoy and Zoetis with Surecalf was awarded to an eight month old Limousin cross bullock from A MacLean, 4 Bualnaluib, Aultbea scaling in at 305kg and realising ¬£800 gross.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 29th) sold 6,140 store lambs. Lambs (6,140) averaged ¬£37.49 and sold to ¬£64 for a Cross from Balcherry, Tain.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 28th) sold 5,614 breeding and store sheep. Breeding ewes (3,558) averaged ¬£51.77 and sold to ¬£101 for Cheviots from Craiglea Croft, Duncanston.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 27th) sold 555 yearling weaned calves at their annual show and sale of native and continental store cattle (including an Aberdeen Angus section) sponsored by Shearwell Data & Beedie Bros. Ltd., Haulage Contractors.
FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 22nd) sold 4235 store sheep of all classes. Lambs (3,434) Sold to ¬£67.50 gross for a pen of Cheviot lambs from Annbank, Kilchoan.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (September, 23rd) sold 358 rams and females at its annual show and sale sponsored by Norvite. The judges, Mr John & Mr James Scott, Fearn Farm, Tain, awarded the overall show champion and winner of the Mountrich trophy to a Suffolk shearling from Messrs A.
