Following what must have been a surge of client recommendations, a Thurso based wedding videographer has been short listed for the chance to win a prestigious award at a major Scottish wedding industry event.

Colin Sinclair who runs Video Viewpoint Productions is one of only five finalists remaining in the wedding videographer category at the Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier ( VOWS ) awards to be staged at a glittering ceremony in the Edinburgh Corn Exchange next month.

"I couldn't believe it when I got the call to say I'd been nominated for the award, I was completely stunned" says Colin.

The VOWS award is based on votes sent in by the clients of businesses and take into account such things as the level of service provided, the quality of the product and the value for money.

"To know that my clients have voted for me in such numbers is a real honour and all my thanks go out to those who took the time to do so, it means a lot".

When asked about his chances of winning Colin said, "I'll just have to wait and see. Nearly all the other finalists are from the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas where there are more people to vote. The fact that I'm a nominee at all is an achievement in itself and anything else is a bonus".
