0 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend).

23 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

958 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,422,719 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 4,136,739 have received their second dose, and 3,320,254 have received a third dose or booster.

on 7 February, 0 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend),

in the week ending 30 January, 121 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate,

Since the start of the outbreak:

10,433 people have died who have tested positive as at 7 February,

12,946 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 30 January,

29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 64% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 30 January).

958 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 23 were in intensive care.

in addition, yesterday 13 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.

in the week ending 1 February, 569 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.

in the week ending 6 February, 20 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.

31,233 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.

As at 2 February, 1,666 people were delayed in hospital.
