7,640 new cases of COVID-19 reported.
15 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.
21 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.
934 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.
4,423,943 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 4,138,634 have received their second dose, and
3,328,947 have received a third dose or booster.
on 9 February, 15 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.
in the week ending 6 February, 118 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.
Since the start of the outbreak:
10,462 people have died who have tested positive as at 9 February.
13,075 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 6 February.
29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 64% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 6 February)
934 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 21 were in intensive care.
in addition, yesterday 13 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.
in the week ending 5 February, 565 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.
in the week ending 8 February, 22 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.
31,461 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.
as at 2 February, 1,666 people were delayed in hospital.
