7,144 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

22 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

11 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

944 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,429,979 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 4,146,918 have received their second dose, and 3,371,691 have received a third dose or booster.

on 17 February, 22 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

in the week ending 13 February, 79 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

10,566 people have died who have tested positive as at 17 February.

13,157 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 13 February.

29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 64% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 13 February).

944 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 11 were in intensive care.

in addition, yesterday 12 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.

in the week ending 13 February, 581 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.

in the week ending 16 February, 15 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.

32,174 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.

as at 16 February, 1,587 people were delayed in hospital.
