7,315 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

31 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

24 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

2,338 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,365,478 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 4,096,193 have received their second dose, and have 3,456,388 received a third dose or booster.

on 6 April, 31 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

in the week ending 27 March, 192 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

11,582 people have died who have tested positive as at 6 April.

13,885 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 27 March.

29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 63% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 27 March).
