Help To Grow Management Program - Free Training From Heriot Watt

Access £7,500 worth of business development training for free from Heriot Watt University.

We have tailored the government's new Help to Grow programme (more info can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/business-finance-support/help-to-grow-management-uk specifically for rural Scottish businesses.

To further show our commitment to SMEs outside of the central belt we are offering bursaries meaning that you won't have to pay anything for the programme.

The programme is divided into 12 modules covering business topics such as internationalisation, financial decision making, branding, marketing, growth strategy and leadership amongst others. Eight of the modules are delivered online via Teams taking place weekly in a 2 hour morning session. These sessions are then followed up by a one hour teams meeting later in the week to give you a chance to discuss the topic with the other businesses on the course. Four of the modules are face to face and these take place at locations that best suit you and are four hours long. In addition, you are assigned a business mentor and will receive 10 hours of coaching with them. We have some fantastic mentors on board from the founders of well-known brands to people that have successfully grown and exited their businesses.
