Vital Hub Announces Multi-year License Agreement With NHS Highland

NHS Highlands is a new customer at Vital Hub and has signed a multi-year license agreement to access our award-winning Synopsis Home and Synopsisi Q.
With its award-winning overview platform, hospitals digitally manage their entire preoperative assessment, from initial surveys to postoperative results, remove paper trails, enhance data security, and a very clear economy. It can provide significant organizational benefits, including digital benefits.
NHS Highland is one of the 14 regions of NHS Scotland. Geographically the largest health commission, it covers an area of 32,500 km2 (12,500 square miles) from Kinthia in the southwest to Caseness in the northeast, serving a population of 320,000. We provide pre-hospital care, primary and secondary care services. Raygmore Hospital covers most of the medical and surgical specialties and is a cancer treatment center in the highlands and western archipelago.
Overview As a result of implementing the solution, fewer patients need to go to the hospital for preoperative evaluation, increasing patient throughput while freeing staff resources and clinical time. This allows staff to spend more clinical time with high-risk patients, improving resource utilization and efficiency of care delivery. Synopsis provides opportunities to better educate patients about pre- and post-surgery care, helps reduce post-surgery readmissions, and promotes greater patient convenience and access to care. Finally, the overview solution helps NHS Highlands improve the backlog of selective care, allowing the department to handle the appointment and management of additional surgery needed to clear the backlog.
