Millions of people are set for significant cash boost next year as the State Pension rise will come into effect in line with soaring inflation rates.

The State Pension is set to hit £200 a week and will result in pensioners across the UK gaining around an extra £1,000 each. More than 12 million people will benefit from the extra cash from April 2023 after inflation reached its highest level in 40 years and comes as living standards have sharply dropped.
