Lochmaddy, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (October 24th) sold 162 store and weaned calves and 14 OTM cattle.

Bullocks (87) averaged 237.0p per kg and sold to 322.7p per kg for a 220kg Limousin cross from Druim Torrach Croft, 17 Hougharry and £1,090 gross for a 430kg Limousin cross also from Druim Torrach Croft.

Heifers (75) averaged 234.0p per kg and sold to 274.6p per kg for a Limousin cross from 25 Balemore, Bayhead and £980 gross for a 400kg Limousin cross from Druim Torrach Croft.

OTM Cattle (14) sold to 205.3p for 570kg Simmental Cross from 5 Knockintorran, Bayhead and £1,320 gross for a Shorthorn from 3 Gramsdale, Balivannich.
