DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 28th) sold 5,614 breeding and store sheep.
Breeding ewes (3,558) averaged £51.77 and sold to £101 for Cheviots from Craiglea Croft, Duncanston.
Feeding ewes (703) averaged £37.30 and sold to £68 for a Cheviot from West Drumliah, Bonar Bridge.
Gimmers (1,311) averaged £89.98 and sold to £156 for Cheviots from Greenacres, Barbaraville.
Feeding sheep (42) sold to £88 for a Texel ram from 2 Forss, Thurso.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (November, 9th) sold 3,314 store sheep. Lambs (2,171) sold to £69 gross for a pen of Texel cross lambs Moulinard House, Tain.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (November, 8th) sold 337 weaned calves, store & breeding cattle including 98 Highland and Highland crosses. Bullocks (112) averaged 191.9p and sold to 247.2p per kilo and £1,115 gross for a pen of 451kg Limousin crosses from Towerhill, Thurso.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (November, 7th) sold 20 prime cattle. Prime bullocks (3) averaged 211.7 (-4.9p) and sold to 214.0p per kg and £1,112.80 gross.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (November, 2nd) sold 3,224 store sheep. Lambs (2239) averaged £41.26 and sold to £88 gross for a Texel cross from Wester Raddery, Fortrose.
FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 14th) sold 259 weaned calves and store cattle, 24 OTM cattle and 8 adult head of breeding cattle. Bullocks (183) averaged 221.4p and sold to 286.3p per kg for a pen of 255kg Simmental crosses from Moy Farm, Banavie, and £940 gross for a 490kg Simmental cross from 7 Back of Keppoch, Arisaig.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October, 6th) sold 136 rams at its annual show and sale of Blackface rams, sponsored by PKN Nutrition and Scottish Woodlands. The overall champion was a shearling from Messrs MacDonald, Dalbuiack, Carrbridge, realising £1,000 to Mrs M.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 4th) sold 496 weaned calves at their first annual district ballot show and sale. The show champion sponsored by Barclays Transport, Portsoy and Zoetis with Surecalf was awarded to an eight month old Limousin cross bullock from A MacLean, 4 Bualnaluib, Aultbea scaling in at 305kg and realising £800 gross.
DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 29th) sold 6,140 store lambs. Lambs (6,140) averaged £37.49 and sold to £64 for a Cross from Balcherry, Tain.
