Photograph of Wick River Camp Site The site, which overlooks Wick River is a very quiet, secluded, picturesque site surrounded by trees and yet only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. Suitable for total relaxation but still only a short walking distance to the shops, restaurants, swimming pool and local heritage centre. There is an 18 hole golf course and 3 miles of beautiful sandy beaches within the vicinity. Alternatively you may wish to tour the Pulteney Distillery or go fishing on one of the nearby lochs.

£90k Worth Of Community Regeneration Funding Awarded By Caithness Councillors to Wick Campsite Toilets

Members of the Caithness Area Committee, who met on Monday, 21 August 2023, considered and agreed funding for an application submitted to the area's Community Regeneration Fund. The Wick Development Trust successfully secured £90,000 towards Phase 2 of their overall development plan, with this phase focusing on the development of a Toilet Block & Facilities building at Wick River Campsite.
