A & W Sinclair Ltd, a family run company, have built a solid reputation for delivering quality work and materials over the last 40 years. We have progressed from a road haulage company into all aspects of construction, quarry suppliers, ready mix concrete suppliers and suppliers of concrete blocks. The company has invested heavily in new plant and vehicles to ensure a high level of service to its customers and are committed to providing a trained and efficient workforce to deliver this.

We operate 2 quarries - RUTHER QUARRY, WATTEN, CAITHNESS (crushed rock) and MELVICH QUARRY, BY THURSO, CAITHNESS (sand and gravel).

Our company accepts our responsibility to conduct our undertakings in such a way as to ensure that we do not contribute towards environmental damage, giving due consideration to the environmental impact of our actions. We ensure that all plant and equipment used by us is sound and fit for purpose under our licence terms, with dust and noise controls in place. We are licensed to recycle materials whenever it is suitable to do so. We have a plan in place for reducing our carbon footprint which is regularly reviewed.
