The job of the Commission on Highland Democracy is to find out how local people want to be involved in decisions and services that directly affect their lives and their communities.

Since November 2016, we have been having listening  to people across the Highlands to hear as many views as possible about what people think about the current state of democracy in the region, and how people want this to change. We have pulled all of our thoughts together and published a report of what we have found so far.

This survey has been set up to test the five main things that we think we have heard so far. We would like your help to understand if we are looking at the right things, and if we are what you would like to change about this.

If the questions are not helpful and you want to say something quite different, please tell us anyway, as we promise that every response will be taken into account as we move forward.

Many thanks for taking the time to tell us your views.
