DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (June 14th) sold 25 prime cattle.   Prime bullocks (8) averaged 244.4p (-3.1p) and sold to 257.0p per kg and £1,770.00 gross.  

Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd - Pedigree and commercial Luing cattle Sale 18 May 2022

DINGWALL, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (May 18th) sold 87 Pedigree and commercial Luing cattle at their annual spring breeding sale.   Pedigree bulling heifers (53) averaged £2,018.97 and sold to 3,000gns (£3,150.00) twice for lots 9 & 10, 26- and 27-month-old heifers, both from Messrs A L & A C McCall, Culmaily Farm, Golspie.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (May, 17th) sold 11 prime cattle.   Prime bullocks (2) averaged 258.5p (+14.5p) and sold to 259.0p per kg and £1,767.30 gross.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (May, 11th) sold 448 store cattle and 73 OTM cattle.   Bullocks (175) averaged 241.2p per kg and sold to 281.0p per kg for a 395kg Charolais cross from Kindeace, Alness and £1,250 gross for a 570kg Beef Shorthorn from Alterwall, Lyth.  

Dingwall & Highland Marts - Sale 3 May 2022 - rare & traditional breeds sale

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts (May, 3rd) sold 169 adult sheep at their rare & traditional breeds sale.   Ewe with lamb at foot (49) sold to £3,450 gross for a Valais Blacknose ewe with twin lambs at foot from Inverlochy Farm, Tomintoul.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (April,13th) sold 915 store cattle and 33 OTM cattle.   Bullocks (424) averaged 248.5p and sold to 296.8p per kg for a 310kg Limousin from Seaview Cottage, Gairloch and £1,365 gross for a 593kg Aberdeen Angus Cross from Olrig Mains, Thurso.  

Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd - Sale 6 April 2022

DINGWALL, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (April 6th) sold 1,020 Aberdeen Angus, Native Bred and Continental Store Cattle, The pre-sale show was kindly sponsored by the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society and Farm Ness, Dunain Mains and was judged by A Oag, Waterloo.   Aberdeen Angus bullocks (472) averaged 232.7p and sold to 320.0p per kilo for a 400kg Aberdeen Angus cross from Ardross Castle, Ardross and £1,500 gross for a 485kg Aberdeen Angus cross from Croft Martin, Insh.  

Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd - Sale 4 April 2022

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (April 1st) sold 8,037 sheep of all classes, including the annual spring sale of ewe lambs.   Ewe lambs (5,575) averaged £96.26 and sold to £190 gross for a pen of blue Texel's from Broombank, Culloden Moor.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (March, 23rd) sold 12 Young Farmers over-wintered cattle at their annual sale, kindly sponsored by McKenzie Craiglands Ltd, J M Munro Ltd, Animal Health Highland & Highland Leisure Sport.   Bullocks (6) averaged 262.0p and sold to 280.9p per kg for the 1st Prize Bought in Bullock and 1st Prize Haltered Bullock a 445kg British Blue cross from Duncan Munro, Invercharron Mains, Ardgay and £1,350 gross for the Overall Unhaltered Champion and 1st Prize Homebred Unhaltered Bullock a 510kg Limousin cross from Mac Campbell Drumderfit Farm, Munlochy.
