DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (April, 22nd) sold 25 pedigree bulls at their annual show and sale sponsored by Messrs Mackenzie, Whitebog, Fortrose, Aardvark Contracting Limited, Fortrose & Bank of Scotland.
The judge, Mr Liam Muir, Upper Onston, Stenness, Orkney, awarded the Champion to Brims Invincible, a 27 month old Limousin by Tehix, from Messrs W. & A. Oag, Brims Mains, Forss, to the judge, for 3000gns. The reserve champion went to a 23 month old Simmental from Messrs Druid Temple Farm, Inverness, and sold for 3700gns to Mr T. B. Pottinger, Baillie Farm, Thurso.
Pedigree bulls (25) sold to a top of 4000gns for a 20 month old Limousin from Messrs W. F. Cruickshank & Sons, Clury Farm, Dulnain Bridge, and averaged 2478gns (£2601.90).

Heifer with male calf (6) sold to £3,000 gross for a Simmental from the part dispersal of the Wellhouse, Beauly herd. 
Heifer with heifer calf (4) sold to £2,400 gross for a Simmental from the Wellhouse part dispersal. 
Heifer with twin calves (one) sold to £2,800 gross for a Simmental from the Wellhouse part dispersal.
Cow with male calf (22) sold to £2,900 gross for a Simmental from the Wellhouse part dispersal. 
Cow with female calf (38) sold to £2,700 gross for a Simmental from the Wellhouse part dispersal.
Cow with twin calves (3) sold to £2,400 gross for a Simmental from the Wellhouse part dispersal.
In calf cows (21) sold to £1,650 gross for a Luing cross from 5 Strathnaver, Kinbrace, & a Hereford cross from Achaguie Farm, Scotscalder.
In calf heifers (8) sold to £1,720 gross for a British blue from Essich Farm.
Bulls (11) sold to £2950 gross for a 25month old Limousin bull from Kirkhill Farm, Alves.
