Mackay Underwater Technology - Watersports is based at Wick harbour, close to the marina, and offers a wide range of quality chandlery equipment to the boat user.

"With the success of Wick's marina, and the county's deep seated tradition of working at sea, it seemed only logical to expand the business into the chandlery area. We already offered an range of marine safety training, and the products now available complement the courses perfectly".

Whether professional seafarer, or leisure boater, there is a selection of marine safety products, navigational aids and electronic equipment to suit all shapes and sizes of vessel.

We offer a full electronic equipment installation and repair service, including radio, radar, GPS and echosounders in our own workshop.

Our watersports section offers a choice of wetsuits and accessories suitable for the full range of water-based sporting activities. Whether your passion is surfing or snorkelling, kayaking or scuba-diving we have a range of products to suit.

To complement the products on offer there is an equipment hire pool to ensure those visiting the area are able to indulge in some of the county's breathtaking water-based activities.

As well as supplying breathing air to 220bar, we also offer a full scuba equipment repair and servicing facility in our own workshop.
