15th August 2017

Tuesday 12th September 2017, 10:00am - 4:00pm at Brora Village Hub, Muirfield Road, Brora, KW9 6QY (£40)

Generations Working Together is excited to be visiting Brora to deliver our intergenerational training course which is open to anyone who would like to learn more about intergenerational work and how to use an intergenerational approach.

Please note the price of £40 will include 4hrs CPD accreditation and a training pack. GWT ask that you bring your own lunch and snacks along with you as these will not be provided, we shall however, provide tea and coffee.

The training is split into three sections:

1. An introduction to Intergenerational Practice

2. Bringing generations together

3. Planning and evaluating Intergenerational Practice

The trainer for this course is Anne McDonald, who has agreed to start running training courses for GWT across the Highlands. Anne is originally from Argyll however has lived in the Highlands for more than 20 years. Anne's background was in advocacy and she is passionate about creating real opportunities for involvement for people who use services and their carers. As a trainer in both an employed and freelance basis Anne has provided training in areas such as carer awareness, facilitation skills and group work. Some of her favourite projects over the last few years have had an intergenerational element and she is delighted to be providing this training, hopefully supporting the development of further exciting intergenerational work.
