Wick Oil Well To Be Drilled By End of 2018

Corallian is the operator of the P2235 and P1918 licenses which contain the Wick and Colter prospects. Corallian plans to drill the two wells as a back-to-back program using the Ensco 72 jack-up rig.

The mobilization of the rig was announced by Baron Oil, Corallian's partner in the Wick license, on Wednesday, 19 December 2018.

The Wick well, thought to have 250million barrels of oil in place, lies about 1.5miles from the Caithness coastline, between Lybster and Ulbster.

Corallian, as operator, has a 40% stake in Wick, Upland Resources has 40%, Baron Oil and Gas has 15% and Corfe Energy has 5%.
