New wind Turbine At Forss Held Up For More Information

The Planning review committee of Highland council has deferred a decision on the extra turbine at Forss. The applicant was Whirlwind Renewables.

The committee met on Tuesday 5th February 2019.

Councillors agree visual impact was the main issue they had. The photographs accompanying the application did not clearly show the impact. the new turbine would be 20 meters taller than the ones already in position.

The planning officer has recommended refusal. However the committee agreed to ask for a more detailed photo montage to make things clearer. The main issue was to determine if the turbine would have an overwhelming affect on the nearest building at 3 Lybster Road.
