107 rowers from 36 global teams are currently making their way across 3,000 miles of the Atlantic Ocean between La Gomera, Spain and English Harbour, Antigua, as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, 2021.

The rowers will be celebrating in various ways tomorrow for Christmas Day. We are delighted to share a selection of exclusive images, straight from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean of some of the teams celebrating Christmas at sea - miles from friends, family and home. Download images HERE

This year, one of the teams from the UK - Anna Victorious (GB)- are rowing to raise awareness and funds to help support Talisker's pledge for the protection and preservation of sea forests with environmental organisation Parley for the Oceans. The teams are rowing for One For The Sea – an initiative launched by Talisker and Parley to help support the protection and preservation of 100 million square metres of sea forest by 2023.

This incredible journey will take them into the New Year meaning they will be spending Christmas out at sea, away from their friends and family. But what an incredible way to celebrate the holidays and New Year - and they've captured this on camera, toasting with a dram of Talisker - literally raising one for the sea to say hello to loved ones at home and encourage donations for the cause.

Team members are: Ed Smith, Rob Murray Adam Green and Jack Biss.

How can you get involved?
Donations can be made by visiting oneforthesea.com/donate. Each donation will support Parley's direct impact work to help protect and preserve sea forests.
