DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 12th) sold 4,679 store lambs and ewes.
Lambs (4,404) averaged £53.25 (- £2.63 on the corresponding sale of last year) and sold to £80 gross for Texel crosses from 12 Airdens, Bonar Bridge.
Ewes & gimmers (275) sold to £58 gross thrice for a Beltex cross gimmer from Ivy Croft, Heights of Brae, and Beltex ewes and gimmers from Caberfeidh, Glenurquhart.
