Caithness Summer Fruits

Photograph of Caithness Summer FruitsWe have been growing Soft Fruits since 1992.

We grow strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and gooseberries.

Fresh fruit is available from June until October. Frozen fruit is available all year round. Local deliveries are made daily to your local shops & hotels (except Sundays) within Caithness.

We are at the Wick Traderís Market on Saturdays. We also attend the Caithness County Show, Sutherland Show and Halkirk Highland Games.

We have been producers of Preserves, Marmalades and Chutneys since 2003. All the preserves are handmade by myself, with help from my family. We also produce jams and marmalades for use in hotels and B & B.

Caithness Peat
We extract the fuel and garden peat from the Causymere site during the summer. Peat is sold in bags or bulk and
can be delivered or picked up from either the Causymere (by arrangement) or Roadside Croft, Harpsdale.Garden Peat, which is suitable for mulching flowerbeds. Fuel Peat, which is ideal for any fire especially multi-fuel stoves.
