DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (December, 10th) sold 1,280 store lambs, breeding and feeding sheep.
Lambs (607) averaged £29.70 and sold to £55 gross for Texel crosses from Blargie Farm, Laggan, Newtonmore.
Ewes (638) averaged £25.25 and sold to £50 gross for Beltex from Braes of Coulmore, North Kessock.
Feeding sheep (35) averaged £21.03 and sold to £34 for Blackface wedders from Viewbay, Munlochy.
"All classes of lambs and ewes showed an increase in value on the strong trade of the last sale."
