DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (March, 25th) sold 3,355 store lambs, breeding & feeding sheep.
Lambs (1,706) averaged £52.60 and sold to £93 gross for Beltex crosses from Upperton, Glenurquhart.
Ewes (1,062) averaged £55.67 and sold to £104 gross for Texels from Inshes Farm, Inverness.
Rams (80) averaged £62.03 and sold to £101 gross for Cheviots from Slaggan Croft, Dingwall.
Ewes in lamb (269) averaged £52.43 and sold to £74.50 gross for Mules scanned with twins to the Suffolk from Millburn, Dunvegan, Isle of Skye.
Feeding sheep (22) averaged £39.36 and sold to £105 for a Suffolk cross wedder from Kilcoy, Killearnan.
Ewes and gimmers with lambs at foot (3) sold to £56 per head for Cheviot ewes with Cheviot lambs from Wester Alligan, Torridon.
