DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (May, 6th) sold 164 adult head of breeding cattle including dispersals from The Crofters Commission, Knocknagael of 22 adult head averaging £2,430, Messrs W C McBean & Co., Milton of Gollanfield of 63 adult head averaging £1,451, and from Mrs J Patience, Brae of Balnabeen of 22 adult head averaging £1,778.
Heifer with male calf (4) sold to £1,900 for a Simmental cross cow from Upper Muckovie, Inverness.
Heifer with male calf (9) sold to £1,700 for a Shorthorn cross cow from Upper Muckovie.
Cow with male calf (44) sold to £3,000 for a Limousin cross cow from Knocknagael, Inverness-shire.
Cow with female calf (63) sold to £3,400 for a Limousin cross cow from Knocknagael.
In calf heifers (1) sold to £1,450 for a Simmental cross from Milton of Gollanfield, Ardersier.
In calf cows (28) sold to £1,750 for a Simmental cross from Newton of Ferintosh, Conon Bridge.
Bulling heifers (15) sold to £800 for a Shorthorn from Tullochgribban Mains, Dulnain Bridge.
