Cheviot lambs (13,402) averaged £41.35 and sold to £56 gross for a Cheviot ewe lamb from Rootfield West, Muir of Ord.
Cross lambs (775) averaged £45.27 and sold to £58.50 for a Suffolk cross from Slaggan Croft, Dingwall.
"Trade failed to meet the extreme rates of the previous sales but still showed an increase of £9.64 on the year."
