DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (February, 16th) sold 197 store cattle, 68 adult head of breeding cattle and 43 OTM cattle.
Bullocks (121) averaged 170.8p and sold to 193.1p per kg for a pen of 360kg Limousin crosses from 145 Badnellan, Brora, and �955 gross for a 705kg Shorthorn cross from Ordmuir, Muir of Ord.
Heifers (73) averaged 160.4p and sold to 178.5p per kg for a pair of 297kg Limousin crosses from 145 Badnellan and �930 gross for a 605kg Belgian Blue cross from Ordmuir.
Young Bulls (3) averaged 107.7p and sold to 117.1p per kg and �720 gross for a Simmental cross from Welbeck Estates, Berriedale.
Cow with heifer calf at foot (10) sold to �1,450 gross for a Simmental cross from 34 Newmarket, Stornoway.
Cows with male calf at foot (14) sold to �1,600 gross for a Simmental cross from 34 Newmarket.
In-calf cows (17) sold to �1,000 gross twice for a Limousin from Littleburn, Munlochy and a Shorthorn from 34 Newmarket.
Breeding Bulls (3) sold to �1,800 gross for a Charolais from 34 Newmarket.
OTM heifers and bullocks (3) averaged 145.7p and sold to 153.8p per kg and �815 gross for a 530kg Charolais cross from Hilton Farm, Tain.
OTM prime and feeding cows (39) averaged 108.5p and sold to 129.4p per kg and �1,100 gross for an 850kg Charolais cross from 19 Rose Croft, Muir of Ord.
OTM bulls (1) sold to 78.8p per kg and �595 gross for a 755kg Charolais from Welbeck Estates.
