Some Of Life's Problems May Be Assisted By Therapeutic Hypnotherapy Services

Ann-Marie Cassidy who lives in Halkirk is a qualified RTT therapist and offers sessions face to face and online.
She said, "I am a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, which is a form of regression hypnotherapy that takes you back to scenes in the past where you have formed certain ideas about yourself that have led to concerns such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, addictions, eating disorders, even infertility and so much more.
Some of my recent clients have been hoarding, suffering social anxiety, depression, memory issues, failing eyesight, childhood neglect, and narcissistic and/or sexual parental abuse. I have had excellent results."
"One recent client who felt she had no future, indeed couldn't see a future for herself at all, went back to a childhood memory of the 4 minute warning broadcasts that were prevalent around the 70s and early 80s, and realised that as a 3 or 4 year old child she came to believe there was no future for anyone, and that she was also terrified of being the last person left alive after losing everyone that she loved; of her father not making it back in time to say goodbye.
We often do not remember these events and memories consciously. We block them out as self-protection."
"The premise of RTT, created by world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer, is that we form beliefs about ourselves in childhood that get stuck in our subconscious mind, and they can then lead to physical and emotional illness. With RTT we revisit the cause and undo those beliefs and then make a personalised recording for the client that they listen to for 21 days on their own."
We ask the mind, in hypnosis, is this belief still relevant to you as an adult today? The adult critical mind then has the chance to recognise the former belief was made with the mind and instincts of a child.
Aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, and traditional psychology are also incorporated in the method.
The beauty of RTT/Rapid Transformational Therapy is that only 1 to 3 sessions are required, and it is not as traumatic as traditional talk therapy, as the real work is done in hypnosis where you are in a perfect state of relaxation and receptiveness.
Recently, on YouTube, Marisa Peer herself was seen treating Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett for sugar addiction. There are plenty of other testimonials about the treatment and Marisa online.
The only people not recommended as suitable for RTT are people with epilepsy and a diagnosed psychosis such as schizophrenia.
We are coming to learn more and more that our thoughts and feelings affect what is happening in our physical body. The negative things we are saying to ourselves over and over again. This is even applicable to conditions that have been described as genetic or hereditary.
It is entirely possible that people who grew up seeing how illness brought positive attention, can go on to be ill themselves. There are many such beliefs and impressions we pick up in childhood. There are also certain roles we feel we need to fit into as a child, in order to belong, but they no longer serve us as adults.
RTT can also be used for non-traumatic reasons such as sports performance, exam skills, passing driver's test, public-speaking fears, negative beliefs around money etc.
I can treat people either in-person at my home or online via Zoom meeting. I offer free 30 minute discovery calls where I do an intake with people and answer any questions they may have.
There is no obligation to proceed.
