"Hogg trade continues to power on like the Titanic, however no iceberg is in sight just yet. A centre record of 330 ppkg was achieved with many travelled sheep reaping the rewards of what the castle has to offer. All classes of hoggs cashed in at phenomenal returns, in particular heavy hoggs. Which topped at £218 for Blue Texels from first time consignor J. Duncan, Inchford.
The record breaking continues into the ewe ring with £330 being achieved on two separate occasions from Wester Raddery for Pure Texels. All in all, a fantastic trade was had with all classes cashing in dearer on the week. Many more could have easily been sold to vendors advantage, so don't be shy give us a try!"
