New Season Lambs (333) sold to 293.0p per kg for a pen of Blue Texels from Invercharron, Ardgay and £147 gross for a pen of Texel crosses from The Dell of Killiehuntly, Kingussie selling to John M Munro (Butchers), Dingwall.
Feeding sheep (602) sold to £225 for a Texel from Hollies, Beauly.

"The lamb ring was a tale of two halves, the first were plenty of under finished and light lambs then the second well finished sorts. This played havoc with the overall average and the meat would be dearer on the week. Another decent number of ewes saw all classes slightly sharper on the week and many more could easily have been sold."
