New Season Lambs (301) sold to 269.0p per kg for a pen of crosses from Swordale Farm, Bonar Bridge and £130 gross for a cross from 4 Glaick, Ardross.
Feeding sheep (662) sold to £140 gross for a pair of Cheviot ewe from Belmaduthy, Munlochy.
"Lamb trade was a little sharper, however lack of meat is still evident and under finished lambs are better in the store ring. Another decent number of ewes forward cashed in at comparable rates for cheviot and continental ewes, however the edge would be off the lean blackface ewes."
