Applying New Practices To Deliver Business
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), Scottish Enterprise (SE) and the ICT Knowledge Transfer Network are pleased to announce a major event for ICT companies in the North of Scotland.
The event is aimed at bringing insight into new business models and opportunities for business that will be enabled by the roll out of high speed broadband access and advances in computing. This event also aims to bring together key players looking to put the region on the map of innovative and high-growth businesses operating in the ICT arena.
The event will be held at Horizon Scotland, Forres, Moray (see www.horizon-scotland.com/) on Tuesday, November 8th beginning at 11:30 with registration and coffee, followed by two invited presentations:
Cloud Computing: Delivering the vision
Using ICT to reduce your total carbon footprint.

The presentations will be followed by discussion over a networking lunch. The afternoon session will highlight local companies developing their own approach to ICT business and the final session will highlight details of funding competitions and other resources available to support the successful growth of ICT led business.
