Mackays Hotel Special Dinner To Recognise Unsung Heroes

Mackays Hotel, Wick are arranging a special dinner to recognise unsung heroes in our community and you can nominate people for the tickets they are giving away.

Ellie and Murray Lamont who run the hotel reckon that there are many people who do things all the time for others and the dinner will let you give them something to thanks them.

Ellie Lamont said, "On January 13 we are holding 'Uncle Harry's New Year Dinner'. We want to recognise people in Caithness who have helped someone in any way,
small or large. 'Unsung heros' who contribute to your life or someone else's, someone who worked Christmas or New Year, someone who did a shop for somebody who couldn't get out in bad weather, all you need to do is send the person's name, tel no, address, why you think they should be recognised to
