DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (February, 1st) sold 1,879 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1,041) averaged £65.18 and sold to £97 gross for Beltex crosses from Caberfeidh, Glenurquhart.
Ewes (671) averaged £71.85 and sold to £130 gross for a Texel from Heathmount, Tain.
In lamb ewes and gimmers (41) sold to £56 gross for Cheviots from 12 Durine, Durness.
Rams and feeding sheep (125) averaged £72.91 and sold to £300 gross for a Cheviot ram from Rhifail, Strathnaver.
"All classes met an increase on the excellent rates of the last sale."
