DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (March, 14th) sold 2,673 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1,401) averaged �66.76 and sold to �97 gross for Cheviots from The Willows, Elphin.
Ewes and gimmers (992) averaged �68.71 and sold to �135 gross for Texels from Wester Craiglands, Fortrose.
In-lamb ewes and gimmers (206) averaged �122.79 and sold to �170 gross for Cheviots from the part dispersal of the Elphin flock from The Willows, Lairg.
Rams and feeding sheep (82) averaged �65.52 and sold to �125 gross for a Cheviot ram from Clune Farm, Dores.
"All classes continued to sell extremely well."
