DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (March, 14th) sold 2,673 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1,401) averaged £66.76 and sold to £97 gross for Cheviots from The Willows, Elphin.
Ewes and gimmers (992) averaged £68.71 and sold to £135 gross for Texels from Wester Craiglands, Fortrose.
In-lamb ewes and gimmers (206) averaged £122.79 and sold to £170 gross for Cheviots from the part dispersal of the Elphin flock from The Willows, Lairg.
Rams and feeding sheep (82) averaged £65.52 and sold to £125 gross for a Cheviot ram from Clune Farm, Dores.
"All classes continued to sell extremely well."
