DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 14th) sold 7,075 store lambs including 748 on behalf of Lewis Livestock Producers.
Lambs (6,327) sold to �72 gross for Blackfaces from Tulloch Farm, Dingwall.
Lewis Livestock Producers lambs (748) sold to �62 gross for Crosses from 59 Coll.
"A good show of Blackface lambs met a buoyant trade, strong fleshy lambs showed an increase on the year, leaner and smaller lambs were a bit more hesitant. Prizes for the best pens of Blackface lambs in the show kindly sponsored by The Blackface Sheep Society were awarded as follows:
