Business Opportunities In Caithness At SSE Meet The Buyer Events

3rd June 2013

There are now just a few days remaining to book a place at our Networking and Meet the Buyer events, held in partnership with SSE.

These events are a great way to make contacts with and hear all the latest information from SSE Procurement, SSE Transmission, SSE Renewables, Achilles and SSE's Tier 1 contractors.

Held from 18.00 to 20.00 at Mackays Hotel, Wick on Wednesday 12th June, the networking evening offers a unique opportunity to meet representatives from SSE, Achilles and SSE's Tier 1 contractors in an informal setting, and to make those key contacts prior to the following day's Meet the Buyer event. Remember, Chamber members can attend this event for the exclusive low price of just £20+VAT (£25+VAT for Affiliates & FSB Members, £40+VAT for non-members).

The free Meet the Buyer event, held the following day from 09.00 to 17.00, also at Mackays Hotel, will feature a range of presentations from SSE, Achilles and SSE's Tier 1 contractors. There will also be the opportunity to take part in one-to-one sessions with SSE and Achilles and to attend a "Building Better Bids" workshop, covering typical questions and requirements of tender documents and offering top tips for that winning bid.

For more information on both events, please see the attached agenda. To book your place, simply return the appropriate booking form(s) no later than Friday 7th June. You can also register on our website at http://caithnesschamber.com/events/sse-open4business-caithness-networking-event and http://caithnesschamber.com/events/open4business-caithness-meet-the-buyer-event.
