DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (February, 12th) sold 1971 sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1126) averaged £64.76 and sold to £90 gross for a Cheviot from Heathmount, Tain.
Ewes (769) averaged £51.90 and sold to £96 gross for a Texel cross from Ham Farm, Barrock.
Rams and feeding sheep (75) sold to £92 gross for Texel rams from 12 Airdens, Bonar Bridge.
"A larger show forward saw store lambs again meeting a fast selling trade. Prime and feeding ewes dearer than last sale."
