Wick driving test centre to move

Next year, Wick driving test centre will be moving to the former VOSA test station on Airport Industrial Estate in Wick.

This includes all car tests and Mod 2 bike tests. There will be no change to Mod 1 bike tests and B+E (car with trailer) tests as they will continue to take place from the separate manoeuvring area in Wick.

This follows the merger of DSA and VOSA to form DVSA, and will help to keep test fees to a minimum by making sure we continue to provide services cost effectively.

Timescales

We expect the move to happen sometime between mid-January to mid-March.

We'll contact you again soon with more details, including when Wick driving test centre will close and when testing from Wick test station on Airport Industrial Estate will start.

Facilities

The waiting room at Wick test station will be refurbished and there are customer toilets.

Booking tests

For the time being, please continue to book tests at Wick driving test centre as normal.
