The judge Mr John Henderson, Udale, chose a 430kg Limousin bullock as
his Champion and a 390kg Limousin bullock as the reserve champion both
from No. 16 Tigharry, Lochmaddy, realising �740 and �690 respectively to
the judge.
Bullocks (168) averaged 124.3p and sold to 176.9p per kg for a 390kg
Limousin and �715 gross for a 560kg Limousin both from No. 16 Tigharry.
Heifers (118) averaged 113.8p and sold to152.5p per kg for a 295kg
Charolais cross from No.7 Torlum, Benbecula, and �560 gross for a 450kg
Simmental cross from No. 2 Hosta, Tigharry.
Breeding cattle (16) sold to �1,380 gross for an in calf Limousin heifer
from No. 7 Balranald, Lochmaddy.
