DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (March, 12th) sold 3,286 sheep of
all classes.

Store lambs (1,997) sold to £56.20 gross for a pen of thirty Suffolk crosses
from No. 11/13 Tomich, Beauly.

Ewes in lamb (300) sold to £52 per head for three and four crop Cheviot ewes
in lamb to the Texel ram from No. 1 Bindal Farm Cottage, Tain.

Gimmers in lamb (23) sold to £51 per head for Cheviots scanned with twins to
the Beltex tup from Mulchaich, Conon Bridge.

Feeding ewes (918) averaged £48.32 per head and sold to £80 gross for a
Texel cross from No. 1 Broynach, Thurso.

Feeding rams (33) averaged £41.83 per head and sold to £67 gross for
Suffolks from Ankerville, Nigg.

Wedders (15) averaged £39.60 per head and sold to £51 gross for Cheviots
from No. 185 Migdale, Bonar Bridge, and Cheviot Mules from Cambusmore
Estate, Dornoch.
