Lambs (1003) to £60. Ewes (479) to £74. Ewes with lamb at foot (10) to £76. Ewes in lamb (19) to £23. Gimmers in lamb (1) to £90. Wedders (19) to £43. Rams (22) to £50.

Lambs (1003) to £60 for Cheviots & Cross lambs from Simpsons Croft, Kildary & for Texel crosses from Tulloch Muir, Invergordon. Ewes (479) to £74 for Texels from Towerhill, Thurso. Ewe with lambs at foot (10) to £76 for a Suffolk from Bogallan, North Kesock. Gimmer in lamb (1) to £90 for a Charolais from Woodside Croft, Ardersier. Wedders (19) to £43 for a Texel cross from Achnagairn, Kirkhill. Rams (22) to £50 for a Beltex cross from Mariain, Evanton.

"Quality fleshed hoggs met a good trade. Long keeping hoggs and all classes of ewes were cheaper."
