FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (May, 30th) sold 337 store cattle, 39 breeding cattle, 29 OTM cattle and 855 sheep.
Bullocks (172) averaged 158p and sold to 199.3p per kg for a pen of 281kg Charolais crosses from Moy Farm, Fort William and £700 gross for a 433kg Charolais cross from Keppoch Farms, Arisaig.

Heifers (164) averaged 151.2p and sold to 213.4p per kg and £830 for a 389kg Shorthorn from National Trust for Scotland, Isle of Canna
Breeding cattle (39) sold to £920 gross for a Shorthorn cow with Shorthorn cross heifer calf at foot, from Ardsliginish, Argyll.

OTM (29) averaged 109.2p per kg and sold to 124.3p per kg for a 543kg Limousin cross from Fuinary, Ardgour, and £885 gross for a 732kg Limousin cross from Moy Farm.
Store lambs (141) sold to £39 gross for Cheviots from Mandally, Invergarry.
Feeding ewes (242) sold to £31.50 gross for Blackfaces from Ardnamurchan Estates, Kilchoan.

Feeding rams (10) sold to £31 gross for a Cheviot from Kilmonivaig, Spean Bridge.
Ewes and hoggs with lambs at foot (451) sold to £90 per head for Cheviot ewes with twin Suffolk cross lambs from Drumbuie, Drumnadrochit.
