DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (August, 28th) sold 5,947 store lambs.
Lambs (5,947) averaged £36.36 and sold to £56.50 per head for Charollais crosses from Seafield House, Portmahomack.
"A tremendous show of Suffolk and Continental cross lambs resulted in an exceptionally firm trade, other crosses and Blackface lambs sold satisfactorily."

Bullocks (125) averaged 299.6p per kg and sold to 361.3p per kg for a pen of 191kg Limousin crosses from 387 Elphin, Lairg and £2,000 gross for a 650kg British Blue cross from Easter Kirk, Wick.

Dingwall's annual sale is becoming quite a spectacle to be seen with demand rising especially further afield in pedigree flocks.
